Learning Outcomes

Student is able to name the components of detergents and the process steps of washing, pretreatments, dyeing, and finishing of textiles, and student is able to describe their meaning and effect on textiles. Student can name the colourants for different fibers, and is able to describe their properties and behaviour. Student is able to identify and name the machinery of textile chemical processes. Student is able to recognize the procuct safety issues of textile production and purchase. Student is able to name the common colour fastness standards and describe their content.
