1. Processing, properties and usage of modern steels with tailored properties ("Advanced steels")     
2. Low carbon steels: IF-, DP-, TRIP- and TWIP-steels, their manufacturing, processing, heat treatments, properties and applications.      
3. Powder metallurgy, stainless steels, modern foundry technology     

Instructions for students on how to achieve the learning outcomes

The final grade will be based on final examination or learning diary (portfolio). The examination or diary will measure the students knowledge on the current trends and latest technological and scientific advances in steel technology.
