Principles and baselines related to teaching and learning

During the course student learns how to combine theory and practise. Furthermore, student learns scientific thinking and problem-solving and learns to be critical and analytical. Student also practices written and oral communication.

Learning Outcomes

In the course students participate in laboratory work of ongoing research projects at the department. After passing the course a student is able to give examples of biotechnological solutions in energy production, sustainable production and environmental protection and related experimental methods. A student knows the analytical methods and instruments used during the course and the principles of using them. After passing the course a student knows the theoretical background of the laboratory work, can interpret measurement data and analysis and write a clear report of the results.
