Objectives

The course provides an overview on robotics and automation systems that are used for manufacture products and the parts assembled into those products. It covers: the development of industrial robotics; the components that build a robot; the current standards for industrial robots; the application of industrial robots in different industries; the characteristics of discrete dynamic event based systems; and automation devices and systems
