Objectives

To familiarize the student with earth construction materials and earth construction works related to house construction and municipal structures.

3.	Earth cuttings, earth and rockfill embankments, compaction works and special requirements set by winter conditions.
4.	Earthworks related to construction of pipe lines and house construction.

Evaluation criteria for the course

Exam 75% and design assignments 25%.

Numerical evaluation scale (1-5) will be used on the course
