Objectives
Design of quantitative experiments, in particular response surface methods.

Content

1. Regression analysis.       
2. Response optimization.       
3. Design of statistical experiments (e.g. Simplex, Plackett-Burman, 2k, CCD, D-optimum experiments).       
4. Use of a statistical program (MATLAB, JMP).       
5. Small sampling methods (time allowing).       

Requirements for completing the course
Active participation in exercises and written solutions to homework exercises, or a closed-book written exam.
