Content of the course
Basics of cell biology and biochemistry molecular biology, genetics. The concept of systems biology and bioinformatics. Information tehorec and Signal processing approaches to systems biology.
Requirements
Participation in the lectures and final exam.

Lecture notes. Also recommended special chapters froma the books: Lodish et al., "Molecular Cell biology", W.H.Freeman and Company, 2002" and Heino, J. & Vuento, M., "Solubiologia", WSOY, Porvoo 2002" at the first lecture time.
