Objectives
1) Skills for designing, simulating, mounting and measuring (including automatic measurements) of a real circuit. 2) Basic to intermediate knowledge about basic analog circuits used in communications: amplifiers, oscillators, data converters.

Contents

2. Amplifiers: basics, low-noise amplifier, power amplifier. Amplifier noise.       
3. Feedback and stability, voltage controlled oscillators.       
4. Impedance matching.

Requirements for completing the course
1) Completed laboratory and auditorium exercises with designed, simulated, mounted and measured circuit. Report from the exercises. 2) Successful exam.

Assessment criteria
1) Exercises – 50% of the grade. 2) Exam – 50% of the grade.
