Course objectives
Design and build a scaled PCB version of an RF-ASIC for modern receiver and transmitter architectures. The course is of essential importance for communication circuit design, which is further continued by 8307050 RF-ASIC Design, 8307070 Mixed-Mode Communication Circuits and Modules, and 8307060 Seminar II.

Content of the course
Presentations and discussions concerning topics related to the design, analysis, and implementation of RF circuits.

Requirements
Study, design, simulate, build and measure the printed circuit board (PCB) of a new GHz-range circuit (such as an LNA, VCO/ICO, PA, PLL, T/H etc.) scaled down in frequency. Measured performance of the completed PCB version, which meets the specifications and written report.

Literature
The materials will be given later, depending on the PCB to be designed.
