Content of the course
Details of speech recognizers: feature extraction, hidden Markov models (HMMs), language models, adaptation methods. Speaker identification and verification. Selected advanced topics on statistical pattern recognition. Examples of using speech recognition techniques in different audio content recognition applications, neural networks applied to speech recognition.
