Course objectives
Become familiar with design of embedded DSP systems.

Content of the course
Architectural aspects of signal processors, memory, I/O, ALU and control. Survey of fixed-point and floating-point data paths. Programming in assembly language. Design of signal processing systems. DSP software tools.
