Tampere University’s international master’s degree programmes offer a study place to over 1,400 new students

The results for admissions to Tampere University’s international master’s degree programmes have been announced. Out of over 14,500 applications from just under 7,300 applicants, Tampere University has offered 1,479 applicants a study place in 36 international master’s programmes. Out of this number, approximately 700 new students are expected to start their studies in August 2024.

The admitted students represent 71 nationalities. Students from countries outside of the EU/EEA make up 89 % (1,310) of the new students. Of all those seeking admission to the degree programmes offered in English, 20 % were admitted.

“With the growing number of applications, we are pleased to note an increase in academically eligible applicants as well. Congratulations to all the admitted students!” says Vice President for Education Marja Sutela.

All the applicants have been informed of the admission results by email.
